Virginia Commonwealth University’s International Partnership with the University of Córdoba began in 2004 when a large delegation of commissioners from UCO and the University of Messina (Italy) visited VCU to discuss future collaborations. VCU’s partnership with UCO also is part of a broader collaboration, the Center for Integrative Mediterranean Studies, a tripartite research and exchange-based relationship with UniMe in Sicily, Italy, and UCO. In 2005, Heber H.
