Virginia Commonwealth University’s International Partnership with the University of Guadalajara began in the fall of 2006 with a VCU delegation visit to Guadalajara. R. McKenna Brown, Ph.D., director of VCU’s School of World Studies, was named director of the VCU-UdeG Partnership. A significant amount of collaboration between the two universities has occurred, including a number of delegation visits and participation in seminars and conferences.

Dr. Reyes González (Vice Rector of International Relations, University of Córdoba) and Dr. Miguel Ángel Navarro Navarro (Executive Vice Rector, University of Guadalajara) sign an International Agreement between the University of Córdoba and the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara in March 2009.
