Embassy Sponsorships
VCU is pleased to enroll so many embassy-sponsored international students. In order to most efficiently communicate with embassies sponsoring students here at VCU, GEO asks all sponsored students to complete the following forms:
- Student Waiver For Embassy Request For Information or Verification [PDF]
- FERPA Concent to Release Student Information [PDF]
These forms must be submitted in person to Dr. Amber Bennett Hill, in the Global Education Office, room 221P. These forms expire at the end of each academic year, and they must be submitted every academic year a student is in attendance.
Embassies may request information on the academic progress and standing of a sponsored student by completing the EMBASSY REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR VERIFICATION [PDF].
The contact name listed on the Embassy Request must match the name listed on the Student Waiver and the FERPA Consent.
