Academic tutoring for international students
Graduate students are available to help international students with:
- preparing to write and proofreading papers
- preparing for exams
- understanding class readings
- preparing for class presentations
- understanding lectures and taking notes.
As well, we can work with you to:
- better understand faculty expectations regarding assignments
- review expectations about academic honesty
- understand American-style narrative structure in written works
- master new vocabulary, especially discipline-specific terms
- prepare for participating in classroom discussions by reviewing readings and brainstorming key ideas and questions
