Community connections are designed to provide ongoing interaction with students ensuring they get firsthand knowledge of the U.S. We sponsor excursions and activities that provide opportunities for travel as well as a chance to meet host families in the area. Just let us know how we can help.
About Richmond
Richmond, the capital city of the state of Virginia, combines the excitement of a large urban and international business center with historical landmarks and traditions. The population of the metropolitan area is approximately 700,000. Richmond is close to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, and the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. Its central location offers the opportunity to visit many other sites of interest within the city and beyond.
