Temporary housing
You may make temporary housing arrangements in Richmond in one of several ways:
- Make arrangements in advance to stay with a friend or relative.
- Email one of the international student organizations. Perhaps someone from your home country can offer you temporary or long-term housing. You may find contact information for these organizations by visiting VCU’s student organizations website and clicking the cultural organization category on the left side of the page.
- Reserve a room in the VCU summer dormitory, which closes on August 9. Bed linens are not provided. Students who will live on-campus for the 2013-2014 academic year may stay in the summer dorm until you move to your assigned dormitory. To reserve a place in the summer dormitory, please contact Linda Smalley or Barbara Sabol.
- Reserve a room in a nearby hotel, which offers discount rates to VCU. See hotel listings below.
