Transfer students
If you are a student who wants to transfer from another F-1 sponsoring institution to VCU, please print the Immigration Transfer-In Clearance Form ![[PDF]](../../../images/layout/icon-pdf.gif){kind=icon}
. You should complete Section I and your current international student adviser should complete Section II. Please fax the form to (804) 828-1829 or mail it to:

Transfer out
If you want to transfer from VCU to another institution, please print the Immigration Transfer-Out Clearance Form . You must complete it and submit it to your international student adviser with an acceptance letter from your new school.
Note: You must attend VCU for at least one semester before you are eligible to transfer out to another institution.
